National Coalition for Men in association with All India Forgotten Women Association , Save family foundation Delhi and Save indian family Hydrebad proudly announces launch of nation wide campaign #VAMBAM. NCM calls for nation wide awareness program to highlight victimization of men & boys.
The campaign aims for reaching out leading political parties celebrities & media houses & sensitise them towards #domesticviolence on men & boys. Indian laws so far do not recognize #domesticviolence on men & boys as offence and no relief is available for men in distress in spite of one men committing Suicide in India every 6 min.
The sexual abuse of boys supersedes girls by more than 15%, however measures taken to protect boys from sexual abuse are minuscule. on the contrary when the same boys surpass an age of 18 years i.e they grow up to become adults sexual abuse of men is not even deemed fit top be considered as offence as per law. how come 57% of Indian boys reporting sexual abuse becomes negligible no sooner they become an adult?
As far as Hazardous labor are concerned the victimization of Boys in life risking jobs are phenomenal yet women and Child welfare ministry sees men and boys as source of #domesticviolence as per the latest statement made by WCD Minister. Instead of showing empathy the government offers apathy to victimized boys. Also the budget allocated for WCD ministry on male child development remains unknown.
The better know fact are where every suicide by married women within seven years of marriage attract Magistrate enquiry, the lesser known fact is married men committing twice the suicide of married women donot get any Magistrate probe nor their are strict provision to penalize the perpetrator.Families loosing their young guns in the early stage of marriage have to simply run from pillar to post even to get a case registered in case the perpetrators are wife and in laws.
Year 2013 witness a total of 3300 men brutally burnt to death however in absence of suitable laws & lack of sensitivity towards men and boys lead to growth in Crime against men and boys.
#VAMBAM aims to highlight various other issues of men & boys which are future of nation, however treated with prejudice when it comes to protecting them from #domesticviolence. The existing set of laws are catering to protect women from men, however protecting men from men , men from women & women from women is not covered by law. Thus the present law protects only few women from men, where rest all are left to fates mercy.
The country has 65 crore man & boys and nation owes them a fair law. 51% of male fraternity feels marginalized & #VAMBAM aims to bring an end to gender apartheid which is creating a gender divide & imbalance in India society towards men & boys.
What we aim to achieve from #VAMBAM??
1. The initiative will help to build up confidence & support to men & boys for raise their voice against #domesticviolence.
2.. It would sensitise government bodies to create department of gender studies in order to record and register issues of men and boys.
3. It would also aim at preparing gender neutral laws in order to provide due sense of security for one and all, be it any gender male or female.

The callers all Men & boys have reported of domestic violence once or at several instances. Apart from these suicide statistics revealed by NCRB state men suicide as twice that of women suicide.depict prejudice against men. Also various studies of UN, WCD Ministry & ILO reveal that men & boys undergo much higher distress.

Ans. If women are victimized by any men only than they are protected by law. If they are victimized by women they are not protected. Also if women deserve to be protected under a law why men & boys are left out. The law is needed to punish the perpetrator irrespective of gender.
